Taking the Leap

Have you ever wanted something so much but held back because it seemed too hard or too far away? Here’s the truth: if you want something you’ve never had, you must do something you’ve never done. Think about it—no one just becomes a doctor, a firefighter, or an Olympic champion overnight. It all starts with a goal.

First, decide on your goal. Then, work backward to figure out the steps it takes to get there. Finally, move forward—one step at a time, one day at a time. Progress isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence.

Here’s where many give up—when things get tough. But let me remind you: it’s supposed to be tough. If you’ve never done something before, of course it feels unfamiliar and challenging. That’s a good sign. It means you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

This is where you need what I call toddler tenacity. When toddlers learn to walk, they fall—again and again. But they don’t quit. They get up, fall, and get up again. They keep going until one day, they’re not just walking—they’re running. And then, you’ll be chasing them forever after.

So, whatever your dream is, embrace the falls, the stumbles, the learning curve. Keep getting up. Because if you stick with it, you’ll find yourself running toward the life you’ve always wanted.

Thank you for the strong finish
