Remember the Good Stuff

It doesn’t take long to realize that life is a mix of highs and lows, wins and losses, joy and struggle. And it also doesn’t take long to notice how people respond to that mix. Some get stuck in the heavy stuff. Others seem to seek out the light, no matter how dim it may feel.

If I’m being honest, I’ve spent time in both camps. I’ve let the weight of the world settle on my shoulders, and I’ve also stood in the sun, arms wide open, grateful for every warm second.

But here’s what I’ve come to learn: focusing on the good doesn’t mean ignoring the hard stuff. It just means not giving it the microphone all the time.

You still show up. You still face the to-do list, the tough days, the hard conversations. But you do it with the understanding that there’s more to life than what weighs you down. There’s laughter in your memories, comfort in your rituals, beauty in your ordinary days, and that deserves your attention too.

The good in your life? Don’t neglect it. Don’t downplay it. Don’t save it for later.

Make space for it now.

Because when you choose to remember the good, on purpose, with intention, it has a way of growing. It changes your energy. It shifts your perspective. And over time, it changes your life.

Your future self will thank you.
